Wayforward Is Making A Game Based On Tom Cruise S Terrible Mummy Film

WayForward, developer of the Shantae series, has announced it’s working on a platformer called The Mummy Demastered. It’s a tie-in to the recent Tom Cruise film.

The game is set to be a 2D platformer, releasing in August for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Switch.

Meanwhile the film The Mummy currently sits at 21% on Rotten Tomatoes, so the game has a chance to massively outstrip its source material. Never forget that Universal accidentally uploaded the trailer without music or sound effects, for some reason.
