Warriors Orochi 4 Confirmed For Western Release This Year

Koei Tecmo pulled the wraps off the next chapter in the Warriors Orochi franchise during Japan’s Omega Force 20th Anniversary bash over the weekend.

Warriors Orochi 4 is the first core entry in the popular hack-‘n-slash franchise since 2012, and will be launching in the US and UK at some point this year. Platforms haven’t been confirmed yet, but PS4 and Xbox One sound like a safe bet to us.

As with previous games, Warriors Orochi 4 will be a mashup of characters from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors franchises, although it isn’t yet known if it will adopt the open-world setting of the former’s most recent instalment.
