Warner Bros. Montreal will focus its efforts on a new Batman game after cancelling the rumoured Suicide Squad title, reports Kotaku.

The decision to drop the Suicide Squad game comes after years of development, but it failed to impress the decision makers at Warner. The Suicide Squad game was teased in Warner Montreal’s Arkham Origins, which remains the studio’s most recent title.

The studio is now working on a new game featuring Son of Batman, Damian Wayne, though exactly when Warner will choose to begin talking about the project isn’t known.
