Vega, the masked Spanish Ninja, has been confirmed as a playable character in next spring’s Street Fighter 5.
Along with a new look, Vega brings a bag of new tricks to the table. Speed remains a key element of Vega’s game, but he now also boasts two distinct fighting modes: claw or no-claw. The no-claw style gives him access to command grabs as well as new attack properties.
Vega’s powerful V-Trigger is the Bloody Kiss, which sees him throw a rose at high velocity towards his opponent, before he charges at full speed right behind it.
Those attending Gamescom will be able to go hands-on with a new build featuring Vega.
Street Fighter 5 is scheduled to launch in spring 2016 for PS4 and PC. Pre-order Street Fighter V now on PS4 or PC.
