he Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has held on to the top spot of the UK Video Games All-Formats Chart for a third week in a row.
With no new releases to compete with GTA 5 bounces back one position to No.2, as does FIFA 15, climbing one place to No.3. Sales of last week’s big release Splatoon fell 50 per cent, however, dropping two positions to No.4.
Battlefield Hardline and Project CARS both climb one position each, finishing at No.5 and No. 6 respectively, with Farming Simulator 15 falling two places to No.7. Destiny, Minecraft: Xbox Edition and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare round out the top 10.
The only new release to chart this week is PS Vita’s playable novel Steins;Gate, which debuts at No.18.

The Witcher 3’s run at the top of the charts could come to an end next week, with tomorrow’s PS4 and Xbox One launch of The Elder Scrolls Online giving it plenty of time to bounce all the way up to the top spot.
