Bethesda has kept the good feeling going following its stonking E3 conference by claiming the UK No.1 spot with the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
The revamped and now free-to-play MMO is the publisher’s first UK No.1 since Wolfenstein: The New Order just over a year ago.
The Elder Scrolls Online is only the third title of 2015 to break through the 100k sales mark on its first week, bettering Battlefield: Hardline, but sitting behind The Witcher 3 as the year’s biggest launch.
Lego Jurassic World is new at No.2, whilst The Witcher 3 falls to third. 505 Games’ Payday 2: Crimewave Edition couldn’t match the chart-topping effort of the original release and is new at No.4.
Splatoon falls to eighth spot, but the Wii U hardware bundle launching this week should help the game rise a little.

It’s a quiet release week with games not wanting to be lost amongst E3, but things will hot up next week when Batman: Arkham Knight hits stores and has its sights set on beating the week one total of The Witcher 3.
