GfK ChartTrack reports that Disney’s Toy Story 3 has reclaimed the UK video game chart No.1 spot, with Blizzard’s StarCraft II slipping to No.4.
The acclaimed RTS took a 72 per cent sales dive following its first week heroics, allowing Modern Warfare 2 and Dance on Broadway to move in to places two and three. Modern Warfare 2 is back at No.2 for the first time since week three this year and is poised to become the UK’s biggest ever unit seller – it could overtake Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training as soon as next week.
Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption drops to No.5 – its lowest chart position since its debut 12 weeks ago.
The week’s only new entries come from Art Academy for DS at No.28 and Hidden Mysteries: Titanic at No32 thanks to the launch of DS/Wii versions.
There’s nothing hitting stores on Friday which is likely to chart, so expect the current major players to resume battle for the top places.
