Star Wars: Battlefront is the UK’s new No.1 video game, becoming the year’s fourth biggest launch in the process, reports Chart Track.
The launch of Battlefront sees last week’s No.1, Fallout 4, drop 80 per cent week-on-week and slip to third place. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 holds at second, whilst FIFA 16 sales are up 14 per cent as the game rises into fourth spot.
Despite much talk about Rise of the Tomb Raider flopping, the game achieved a not too shabby second week decline of only 37 per cent to see it chart in fifth.
The Top 10 is completed by LEGO Dimensions, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Minecraft: Story Mode, WWE 2K16 and Need for Speed.
No other new releases managed to place in the Top 40.
