LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the UK’s No.1 game for a fourth week in a row, but it’s Pokemon which is once again the most interesting story.

Riding on the Pokemon GO wave, three Pokemon 3DS games have re-entered the UK Top 40, with two more inside the Top 50. Pokemon Omega Ruby is 17th, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire takes 24th and Pokemon Y sits 29th.

GfK states that it predicts August sales of Pokemon related games and hardware to show a “remarkable spike”.

Retailers with access to more GfK Chart-Track data have told MCV that Nintendo was the UK’s No.2 games publisher last week based on sales value, thanks almost entirely to Pokemon games. 3DS hardware unit sales were up by 27.5 per cent.

Returning to the charts, FIFA 16 is up five places to No.2, Overwatch takes No3, GTA 5 No.4 and Doom secures No.5.

Elsewhere Mirror’s Edge Catalyst climbs 20 places to No.15.
