Warner Bros’ Mortal Kombat X has held on to make it three weeks straight at the top of the UK Video Game Chart, and now needs just one more week at No.1 to match the performance of Battlefield: Hardline.
GTA 5 and Battlefield: Hardline are also non-movers at No.2 and No.3 respectively.
Despite a complete lack of new releases, however, the bank holiday weekend actually helped entertainment software sales rise by 6 per cent week-on-week.
FIFA 15 sales are up 16 per cent thanks to Xbox 360 bundling, which sees the title climb to No.4. Minecraft: PlayStation Edition, meanwhile, drops to fifth and Dying Light is up two spots to No.6.
Elsewhere, Halo: The Master Chief Collection climbs five places thanks to a 33 per cent sales bump.

New releases Project CARS and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood are both likely to do well in next week’s chart, with Bandai Namco’s racer odds-on to take the No.1 spot. Wolfenstein’s low price should also ensure a Top 5 debut.
