LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the UK’s new No.1 video game, becoming the ninth LEGO game to top the UK chart.
The Force Awakens ranks as the fourth best launch for a LEGO game (bettered by Indiana Jones, Marvel Super Heroes and Batman), and also the fourth best launch for a Star Wars game (behind Battlefront, The Force Unleashed and Episode 3 – Revenge of the Sith).
DOOM continues to perform well with only a 17 per cent drop in sales, but this is enough to see it fall to No4, behind FIFA 16 and Overwatch at No.2 and No.3.
Uncharted 4 takes fifth place, while Square’s Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is new at No.6.
Telltale Games’ 7 Days to Die is also new at No.9, The Technomancer takes 13th spot and Minecraft: Wii U Edition charts at No.18.
