FIFA 16 has held on to the top of the UK Video Game Chart despite a 41 per cent drop off in sales following the Black Friday bump, reports Chart-Track.
Black Ops 3 is second, with Star Wars Battlefront also holding in third spot. Just Cause 3 is the week’s highest new entry at No.4, with launch sales up by an impressive 46 per cent over Just Cause 2.
Fallout 4 is down one place into fifth, followed by Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege which is new at No.6. Unless it has a long tail, RB6 could be a costly flop for the publisher.
Minecraft: Story Mode continues to deliver at No.7 with sales up 16 per cent, chased by GTA 5, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and WWE 2K16.
Wii U’s major RPG release Xenoblade Chronicles X makes its debut at No.28, but did outsell the original Wii title by 73 per cent on launch week.

There’s nothing new until the new year, so expect the final few weeks of the year to be fought by the current chart-toppers.
We’re unlikely to hear anything from Ubisoft about Rainbow Six Siege until its next earnings report, but it seems possible sales were considerably damaged by a couple of poor betas which knocked consumer confidence in the product.
