GfK ChartTrack reports that PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain has entered the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart at No.1, dethroning SEGA’s Aliens vs Predator after just one week.

Elsewhere, SEGA’s Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing makes a solid debut at No.8, while Napoleon: Total War, the latest RTS from Creative Assembly, fails to chart in the Top 10 and has to settle for twelfth place.

Further down the chart there are new entries for MX vs ATV: Reflex at No.26 and White Knight Chronicles at No.35.

Next week we expect EA’s Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to make Heavy Rain’s stay at the top a short-lived one, plus there’s Disney’s Alice in Wonderland movie tie-in hitting stores to coincide with the movie’s release.
