GTA 5 is celebrating its return to the top of the All Formats All Prices UK Video Game Chart thanks to increased interest in the game after the long-awaited roll-out of Online Heists.
Sales for the open-world action game are up an impressive 49 per cent.
Grand Theft Auto 5 has now spent a total of eight weeks in first place, but needs to find another two weeks at the summit in order to match the 10 week haul achieved by GTA: Vice City on PS2.
Warner’s Dying Light drops one place into second, followed by FIFA 15 and Minecraft: Xbox Edition. Capcom’s DMC Definitive Edition is new at No.5, whilst Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition charts in 10th spot, one place below Rebellion’s Sniper spin-off Zombie Army Trilogy.

Though we fully expects EA’s Battlefield: Hardline to enter at No.1, it’s actually a pretty busy release week as publishers rush to launch titles before the end of the financial year.
Joining Hardline in stores on Friday are Bladestorm: Nightmare, Final Fantasy Type 0, Mario Party 10 and the retail edition of Resident Evil Revelations 2.
