Techland’s Dying Light has secured a second week at No.1 in the UK Video Game Chart, with its total sales now eclipsing that of Sony’s The Order: 1886 and 2K’s Evolve.

The game’s physical success is perhaps surprising given its problematic launch which saw the retail version arriving one month after the game was available on digital channels.

GTA 5 takes second in this week’s chart, followed by FIFA 15, COD Advanced Warfare and Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

The week’s only new entry is Rebellion’s Zombie Army Trilogy at No.8.

There’s no spot inside the Top 40 for Frontier’s Screamride which launched at a budget price on Xbox One. The rollercoaster builder could only manage 16th place in the Xbox One chart.

Capcom’s DMC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition will surely perform better when it arrives tomorrow, with its appealing 1080p 60 frames per second upgrade making it a real temptation at just £25.
