Bandai Namco’s Dark Souls 3 is UK’s new No.1, with launch week sales up by 61 per cent compared to Dark Souls 2 back in 2014.
Dark Souls 3 is now the most successful launch for a title in the series, and the first to chart at No.1 in the UK.
Ubisoft’s The Division is up one place to second, EA Sports UFC 2 climbs five places to third and Quantum Break slips three places to fourth – with sales down 64 per cent after launch. Codemasters’ Dirt Rally also drop three spots from second into fifth.
Elsewhere there’s very little to report, other than a few chart re-entries for Nintendo thanks to new Nintendo Selects titles on Wii U: New Super Mario Bros. U + Super Luigi is 18th and Wind Waker sits at No.25.
