UPDATE 2 – 15:35: Yep, the announcement appears to be for a student program called CODEX, a “new Ubisoft Montreal program to support the next generation and student retention in Quebec”.
Maybe they’ll be the ones making Watch Dogs 2?
Still, if you’re interested, the developer has much more detail about the program up on its website.
UPDATE – 15:27: Judging by a tweet posted by Ubisoft Montreal yesterday, it’s possible that the developer may be referencing a scheme intended for students. We’ll let you know how this turns out.
ORIGINAL STORY: Ubisoft Montreal has a “big announcement” to make at 10:30am local time today, the developer has teased. That’s 3:30pm GMT today.
But what could it be? Well, it could be linked to one of the studio’s current announced games, which includes Rainbow Six Siege, For Honor and Far Cry Primal.
Or it could be related to something entirely different. Watch Dogs 2? A new Ubisoft service? Quite frankly, it could be anything. To find out what it is, check back here in 20 minutes’ time.
