Total War: Warhammer II‘s next Lords Pack DLC is The Warden & The Paunch. We’ll finally see an epic showdown between Eltharion the Grim, the Warden of Tor Yvresse, and Grom the Paunch, the biggest and meanest goblin in Warhammer Fantasy Battles history. Along the way, players will use the Mists of Yvresse to shroud Ulthuan from prying eyes, and cook numerous recipes via Grom’s Cauldron. A free update also reworks the Greenskins faction and adds Prince Imrik, the Dragon Lord of Caledor....

Limbic Entertainment has announced a delay for Dictator-’em-up sequel Tropico 6, with the game now due to show up in 2019. Tropico 6 had originally been pencilled in for a 2018 launch, although an exact date was never specified at the time. Regardless, it’s now due for release on PC in January next year, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions arriving in summer 2019. Fortunately you won’t have to wait too long to have a sneak peak at the game, as Limbic will be holding a Steam Closed Beta this autumn....

Kalypso Media has released the first gameplay footage for its upcoming city builder, Tropico 6, which was revealed back in July. In 2018, players can once again take on the role of a lovable (read: feared) dictator, perhaps with a penchant for a certain brand of tracksuit, as they rule over the fictional island state of Tropico across four different eras. In Tropico 6, players will be able to manage a number of small islands, and for the first time in the series build connections (that’s bridges not romantic bonds) between these archipelagos, introduce a proper transportation infrastructure and even more....

Ubisoft has announced the first games the company is adding to its new Uplay+ subscription service when it launches next month. The service, which was rumoured just before E3 before being formally revealed at the event, promises a library of ‘more than 100 Ubisoft games’ on PC, as well as early access to betas and future game launches in a manner not too dissimilar to EA Access’ own offering. Furthermore, most games on the service are set to be their Premium Editions, including the majority of DLCs and expansions where appropriate....

Valve is showing off Steam Deck’s unreleased dock at Tokyo Game Show. Ubisoft has released a bevvy of information about the upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion, including a brand new story trailer and detailing post launch content that’ll be coming both for free and as part of the game’s Season Pass. The game’s first big free post-launch update will be along on December 3, adding co-op and competitive online play. You’ll be able to team up with up to three other players and freely roam around the open world interpretation of London, and take on new missions specifically designed for between two to four players including tough Tactical Ops campaigns....
