Following its launch of The Wonderful 101: Remastered on Kickstarter last week, Platinum Games is taking its heroes on the road. Later this month, at PAX East in Boston, the company will showcase the first playable build for the remade Wii U game, which will debut on Steam this year. The company will have a booth on the show floor, where interested attendees can try the game out. It’ll obviously have some gameplay changes, as the original release utilized the Wii U’s touch screen....

In the wake of a Kickstarter campaign that met its base goal in just half an hour, all signs have pointed to The Wonderful 101 Remastered coming very soon, and now Platinum Games has confirmed as much, announcing when exactly its formerly Wii U exclusive superhero action game will be released and where. For the uninitiated, the game originally came out in 2013 and set itself apart from Platinum’s other action-packed games like Bayonetta and Nier Automata by having players control a team of up to 100 Power Rangers-esque heroes called Wonderful Ones all at once (with the players themselves being considered the 101st)....

Triangle Strategy has sold 800k copies globally in its first two weeks. The Switch strategy RPG sold over 200k in Japan and Asia. Twitch partnered streamer Grizz has been banned following an NSFW parody. Grizz did a sketch in which he “impersonated” fellow Twitch partner Amouranth, acting out a similar scene which led to Amouranth being banned just one week past. Grizz didn’t physically reveal himself, intentionally or accidentally, like Amouranth was punished for. But Grizz did use a fake plastic prop of male genitals during his joke, which is almost certainly the reason for his ban....

Uncharted 4’s release date remains set for May 10, Sony has confirmed, despite a stolen shipment of copies currently circulating in the UK. Sony confirmed earlier today that a “number of copies” of Uncharted 4 had been “stolen while in transit”, later telling MCV that the theft had occurred during a “violent assault”. It’s suggested that other video games and DVDs may have also been stolen during the raid. “We are doing everything in our power to assist the police in their ongoing criminal investigation,” a PlayStation representative said....

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End sold through more than 2.7 million units worldwide during its first week of launch, Sony has announced. The figure makes the game the fastest-selling first-party PS4 game yet in both North America and Europe. The figures include both physical and digital sales. “A huge congratulations goes out to Naughty Dog for an incredible feat,” SCEA marketing manager Asad Qizilbash wrote on PlayStation Blog. “The success of the game is a testament to the calibre of the team at Naughty Dog and their unwavering commitment to their fans....

House House’s Untitled Goose Game will be coming to Xbox One on December 17 (via GamePur). The developer had been modest about the prospect of a release on the Xbox and PlayStation, expressing hope that it would eventually be possible. The upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Virtua Racing, which is part of the Sega Ages brand, will feature multiplayer support for up to eight players via local split-screen. According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via Gematsu), the retro racer will arrive in Japan this spring (and presumably in the west soon after), and also features online-based one-on-one battles. Here, your opponent’s status is displayed via picture-in-picture. As for the local multiplayer, Virtua Racing will give you the option of setting five-lap and 20-lap race rules....

Warner Bros.’ upcoming LEGO toys-to-life game is being developed under the working title ‘LEGO Dimensions’, VideoGamer.com understands. VideoGamer first reported that work on the unannounced game was underway at Traveller’s Tales earlier this week, with the game expected to rival Activision’s Skylanders, Disney Infinity and Nintendo’s Amiibos. The launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 introduced an array of new content for fans of the battle royale.
