The E3 2016 Xbox Conference livestream once again gives Microsoft the chance to show gamers that the Xbox platform can compete with the PlayStation 4, so expect something pretty special. Fans of Knack can rejoice, for a demo of its sequel has appeared on the PSN store. The demo for Knack 2 weighs in at 2.6GB and gives players the chance to try out the Monastery level of the game in single and co-op mode. Developer Crema Games seems to have sorted out the server issues that were preventing thousands of players from joining the new Pokémon-style MMO, and now there have been nearly 40,000 new Temtem tamers online at the same time. Creative Assembly have decided they want to make more focused games alongside their main Total War series. On September 1, the United States Supreme Court allowed S.B. 8, a Texas law that essentially banned abortion after six weeks of pregnancy, to pass. Twitch has declined to change the revenue split for streamers, despite over 22k votes on its UserVoice platform. The revenue split between Twitch and streamers has long been an issue, with many claiming the current 50/50 split is stifling the growth of smaller channels. The UserVoice post, begun by streamer SaltyWyvern in 2020, became the most voted issue on the platform as it requested Twitch change the revenue split to 70/30 (like main rival YouTube)....

A few hours ago, Ubisoft Support announced on Twitter that an error is occurring for some Uplay users. The error message is: “Your account has been accessed from another location”. It occurs when some users try to connect to Uplay with their personal accounts. According to Ubisoft, the cause of the error is degradation, which is a concept in software maintenance. It looks like Uplay might need a small patch to clear this issue, and Ubisoft is still investigating it....

Ubisoft is leveraging user data to help Ubisoft gamers through a new personal gaming assistant called Sam Sam is the latest addition to the Ubisoft Club and Ubisoft is hoping the mobile app will point gamers in the right direction when they are looking for information on Ubisoft games. Sam can be talked to or take text input through Sam’s chatbot Q&A feature.
