Shenmue 1 & 2 may be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One according to a number of listings at Eastern European retailers. This isn’t the first time that such a bundle has been rumoured, but this latest rounds of leaks lends further credence to the ongoing rumblings. Over the weekend, listings for the two games as double pack for PS4 and Xbox One appeared on the websites of the Czech retailer Alza, before being delisted, and Slovak retailers Heureka, GetGame and MadGamer....

Pokedokoro is a kid’s variety TV program in Japan, and the latest advertisement for the show’s upcoming episode teases some places they will feature, such as the Pokemon Fossil Museum, a Pokemon Center store, and a Pokemon Cafe. The advertisement is only 30 seconds long, but it packs a lot into a short amount of time, and it follows the show’s theme of “where are you going with Pokemon.” The first thing it shows off is the Pokemon Fossil Museum in Japan, an exhibition that teaches paleontology in a unique way....
After releasing a swanky trailer of city-builder Frostpunk back in April, developer 11 bit studios has now posted some screenshots of the game online (via Eurogamer). Sony has revealed the free game selection PlayStation Plus members will get for December 2019 and it’s a very odd mixture of titles. Developer Fatshark has given a late September release for upcoming co-op action game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. The game puts you and up to three other friends in the boots of a squad of Imperial Guardsmen. Set in the hive city of Tertium, you’ll be taking on hordes of enemies brainwashed by the Admonition cult. They’re trying to seize control of the planet Atoma Prime and kill everyone on it, so naturally it’s up to you to stop them....

The trailer used at yesterday’s meeting between Trump and the video game industry to discuss violence in video games was pretty brutal and not everyone was pleased to see it showcased, including Deus-Ex creator Warren Spector.
