Wrestling sensation John Cena is reportedly being lined up to star in a movie adaptation of Duke Nukem. The Twisted & The Twilight sees a showdown in Naggaroth between Throt the Unclean of Clan Moulder and the Sisters of Twilight who lead the Heralds of Ariel. If players pick the Skaven, they can use Throt’s Flesh Laboratory to augment units. Conversely, the Wood Elves gain new and improved items from Lord Daith. Still, much like previous Total War: Warhammer II DLC releases, we do need to know if The Twisted & The Twilight is worth grabbing now....
Trek To Yomi is a fascinating, extremely stylish release. Its aim is to emulate classic Japanese samurai movies, with Kurosawa and Kobayashi the clear influences. Everything from the letterboxed, monochromatic presentation right down to the film grain and shot framing are clearly inspired by Japanese cinema, with Unreal Engine 4’s post-processing pipeline used to render this stylised, cinematic experience. This isn’t a massive blockbuster title but there’s a deep fidelity to the source material here and a brilliant sense of aesthetics....
Frozenbyte has announced that Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince will launch on PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One next year. Ubisoft has re-inserted Hibana into Rainbow Six Siege’s character rotation after a temporary fix for the PS4 version’s freezing issues led to a more serious crash bug. DLC operator Hibana was identified as causing mid-game freezing in the PS4 version last week, leading to Ubisoft removing her from the game as a “temporary workaround”. Shortly after, however, Ubisoft explained that the character’s removal had unintentionally led to another bug preventing players “from progressing past the end of Season rewards popup”....

The European Comission has announced that they are fining Valve, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Focus Home, Koch Media and Zenimax €7.8 million for preventing their games from being sold across countries on Steam. In a press release by the governing body themselves (spotted by VG24/7) the EU Commission said it was fining the companies for breaching EU antitrust rules, citing the companies use of ‘geoblocking’, specifically how they “restricted cross-border sales of certain PC video games on the basis of the geographical location of users within the European Economic Area....
