Blizzard Entertainment has polished off a teaser trailer for Overwatch’s new Petra map ahead of the game’s second anniversary event tomorrow. Ira Rubenstein, executive vice president of Marvel, announced that they are experimenting with in-depth mini-games for iPhone, iPad and XBLA. With the success of their bigger releases (Marvel vs. Capcom), they want to expand their horizons to downloadable platforms as well. He used the example of Stark Tower Defense (which you can play online now) as one of the games they want to port to the iPhone and XBLA. Iwaju was announced during D23 and will be an animated series coming to Disney Plus sometime in 2023. Not much was said about the upcoming series, but it will be set in a futuristic Lagos, Nigeria. UPDATE: Apex Legends Design Director Jason McCord put out a blog post detailing the map changes Season 4 will bring. The Planet Harvester split Capitol City in two, separated by a giant fissure. Players can cross on chokepoint bridges or jump directly into the fissure to ride an updraft. But the updraft travels slow, making the jumper a “flying loot piñata.” Respawn’s goal is to always be creating new points of interest so that preferred drop points don’t get stale, says McCord....

Valve Corporation has rolled in the new update for Dota 2. As per usual, the update includes new cosmetics and balances. But what surprises most players is that it consists of a new change to Matchmaking Ranks (MMR). Instead of two separate ranks, there are now five role ranks and an overall MMR foundation system.
