Sorry, Total War fans, but 2021 just isn’t going to be your year. In a message sent out to Twitter, Total War: Warhammer III has been delayed until early 2022. It’s a shame, considering publisher Sega has been pumping out fresh info on the game for months now. In fact, developer Creative Assembly was set for a showcase this month with even more reveals. Flying Wild Hog is really putting out a lot this year. The developer already released the extremely short, yet mostly enjoyable Shadow Warrior 3, but it’s also got Evil West and Trek to Yomi on the radar for release. I got to play the first hour or so of the latter game, which covers the initial couple of chapters. And I’m fairly impressed by the game’s style and general presentation. Dedicated Twitch streamer The_Happy_Hobbit has successfully beaten Dark Souls without taking a hit, with a record of his accomplishment recorded for all to see. In the on-demand version of his stream the action begins at 29 minutes, with the last boss fight at 4 hours 56 minutes. It’s impressive stuff, especially given he doesn’t block with a shield, use magic, or glitch the game in any way.
