Tomb Raider – Live in Concert will make its world debut this December at the Eventim Apollo in London, with tickets going on sale at 9am on Friday. The concert features the Tomb Raider Suite by original Tomb Raider composer Nathan McCree; a collection of McCree’s themes from the iconic game series, played by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and chorus conducted by Robert Ziegler. The concert will be accompanied by in-game footage and images from 20 years of Tomb Raider on a giant screen above the orchestra....

UPDATE: A Bethesda representative has told VideoGamer.com that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of The Elder Scrolls Online do not require a CD key to play after all, and that the publisher’s original forum post was incorrect. “The physical console version of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited does not require a one-time game code, as with any other boxed PS4 / Xbox One game only the game disc is needed for verification,” Bethesda said in a statement this afternoon....

While the Valkyria Chronicles franchise has been somewhat dormant for four years, it certainly hasn’t been forgotten. A new crossover has just been announced bringing the characters of Sega’s popular tactical JRPG franchise to another world, that of Langrisser mobile. Specifically, it appears that the crossover will feature Selvaria, Alicia, and Isara from the original Valkyria Chronicles game, who will be available in the mobile game published by Zlongame, with the event starting on May 19....

Riot Games will provide a code of conduct for Valorant’s community, in order to confront harassment and hold the developer “accountable” for oversights (via GameSpot). In a new blog post, executive producer Anna Donlon expressed how the developer will continue to encourage problematic players to change their ways. In April, female Valorant players (including someone who works on the game) shared their stories of gendered harassment while playing the tactical shooter....

Released on June 5th, 2018, Vampyr represented an interesting diversion for developer Dontnod. The minds behind the cult classic Life Is Strange series and its spinoffs, they weren’t particularly well-known for action-oriented titles. In fact, 2013’s Remember Me, their first-ever outing, was panned due in no small part to its lackluster combat mechanics. That said, this Victorian-era drama plays to the devs story-crafting strengths while introducing engaging combat encounters and gripping moral quandaries....
