Nintendo and cereal maker Kellogg’s have announced a partnership that will see a box of Super Mario themed cereal hit supermarket shelves in the US, the companies have announced. As described on the Nintendo website, the Super Mario Cereal is a ‘mixed berry cereal’ with marshmallows that appear to be in the shape of classic Mario power-ups the red and green mushrooms and the yellow question mark blocks. Most interestingly, the box touts that it has Amiibo functionality, meaning that when the box is scanned by a Nintendo Switch console, it’ll unlock bonus hearts and coins in the plucky (former) plumber’s latest outing Super Mario Odyssey....

Developer Turn 10 has announced that it’ll be inviting players who are registered in the Forza Feedback Panel scheme into a closed playtest for the next Forza Motorsport game ahead of its (as yet unspecified) release. For a few days now, rumors suggesting that Ubisoft would cease all support for its free-to-play live service game Roller Champions circulated on the Internet. Rumour has it, Ubisoft’s long-anticipated pirate game, Skull & Bones, will be formally revealed next month along with a release date. Video game developers based in Ukraine have spoken out, amidst the ongoing invasion of their country by Russia. Ukraine is home to Stalker developer GSC Game World, The Sinking City and Sherlock Holmes studio Frogwares and Suvarium maker Vostok Games, among others.
