Final Fantasy VII’s Tifa Lockhart is the latest fighter to be added to brawler Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, publisher Square Enix has announced. Making the announcement during a Square Enix Japan livestream earlier today, Tifa will have three colour, costume and weapon variations and will join the current roster of heroes in Japan from July 3. The company also released a trailer, which we’ve embedded below. There’s currently no word if she’ll launch on the same date in the English language version, which recently released a free-to-play version a couple of months ago....

Strategy game Tropico 6 has been launched into the Xbox Game Preview programme today, publisher Kalypso Media has announced. The Xbox Game Preview version of Tropico 6 contains the full singleplayer campaign, while other features from the PC release including multiplayer will be added at a later time. However, it seems the game’s full console release has been pushed back, as the announcement notes that the full Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will now release in ‘Fall 2019’ having previously been earmarked for a summer release....

A Twitch streamer named RusseL made himself the butt of his own joke this week after a fairly harmless prank went awry for the gamer. RusseL was streaming the videogame Secret Neighbour when one of his viewers asked if the streamer could refrain from making loud noises, as he was going to bed. The Twitch streamer acknowledged the wish, but had other plans in mind: he suddenly began blowing loudly into the microphone and thumping his desk, making as much loud noise as he could....

Texting and driving just isn’t dangerous enough for the UFC’s Kevin Lee. In a video that Lee posted to his Instagram account earlier this week, the lightweight fighter is shown playing mobile games while driving. It’s now been two years since Uncharted: The Lost Legacy shipped for PlayStation 4, and many of the developers behind the standalone expansion took to Twitter to celebrate the occasion. One of these developers was Jonathan Cooper, who worked as an animator for both Uncharted 4 and its expansion. As Blizzard revealed Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon today, they released a cinematic trailer showing some of the most beloved Overwatch characters on a mission.
