The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will render at native 1080p on PlayStation 4 and 900p on Xbox One, CD Projekt RED has confirmed. The game will run at 30fps on both platforms. The developer is said to have confirmed the game’s frame rate and resolution to GameSpot following an initial report on German website Gamestar earlier this week. Ubisoft is backtracking on its previous plans to explore the NFT market. In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot gave his thoughts on various topics. According to Geoff Keighley’s new interactive documentary, Half-Life: Alex – Final Hours, Valve was working on several projects at various points in the last decade, but ended up canceling them. That list of shelved games includes such mythical titles as Half-Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3. Following years of developers exploiting the Steam client to constantly change the release date for their games, Valve has moved to restrict such behavior, and now requires developers to ask for permission to make any such change. Previously, a developer could change the release date whenever and as often as they liked, leading to some less-reputable organizations tricking consumers by making them think that a game was near its release date, when it fact it was no where near that time....

UPDATE: Virtua Tennis 4 is to be removed from digital stores across PC and console next week due to license expirations, SEGA has confirmed. “Certain licensing arrangements for Virtua Tennis 4 will expire on April 23rd, 2015, after which, the game will be no longer be available to purchase from Steam and all other digital retailers and platforms,” SEGA said in a statement provided to VideoGamer.com. “This will not affect users who have already purchased the game and until the 23rd April, Virtua Tennis 4 is available from Steam at 80% off, so grab it before it disappears!...

There is finally new information on the way for Warcraft 3: Reforged. Since the launch of the game, there has been little to nothing from the development team for the game. Warner Bros. Montreal will focus its efforts on a new Batman game after cancelling the rumoured Suicide Squad title, reports Kotaku. The decision to drop the Suicide Squad game comes after years of development, but it failed to impress the decision makers at Warner. The Suicide Squad game was teased in Warner Montreal’s Arkham Origins, which remains the studio’s most recent title. The studio is now working on a new game featuring Son of Batman, Damian Wayne, though exactly when Warner will choose to begin talking about the project isn’t known....

Raven Software has temporarily disabled Most Wanted contracts in Warzone 2 as it attempts to squish a bug in the battle royale shooter. It’s believed the bug in question was a major XP exploit, allowing players to level up their weapons far faster than was intended. According to CharlieIntel, the bug occurred when players would open a Supply Box at the same time as their Most Wanted contract expired, granting them a whopping 14,000 XP....

Fans of 1988’s influential post-apocalyptic RPG Wasteland had to wait 25 years for its sequel, the crowdfunded Wasteland 2, which launched to a warm reception in 2013.
