Draw Distance announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 24. The game takes the tabletop role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade and translates it into a narrative-focused adventure title, with visual novel elements. In New York City, the fundamentalist Camarilla and the defiant Anarch vampire factions are at each other’s throats. The player takes on the role of one of three fledgling vampires in the Camarilla clan: a hedonistic man of clan Brujah, a creative of clan Toreador, and a fiercely-ambitious woman of clan Ventrue....

Frontier Foundry released a new trailer of its upcoming turn-based tactics game Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters. This time around, the trailer focuses on showcasing two of the Psychic weapons that our space marines will be able to employ on the grimdark battlefield of the far future, the Psilencer and the Psycannon. Following the recent reveal of the RPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Owlcat Games released a new dev diary video. In the video, narrative lead Olga Kellner provides an overview of the setting and the characters that we’ll play and encounter. We learn more about who the Rogue Trader is (veteran fans will remember that “Rogue Trader” is actually the subtitle of the very first Warhammer 40,000 edition, published by Games Workshop in 1987), alongside some of the many companions we’ll meet in our adventurers....

The Call of Duty in-game store is always full of various bundles for players to purchase. This allows you to get your hands on some brand new items including skins, calling cards, weapons, and more. The NecroKing bundle launched into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone on March 21. However, not long after it was released, the NecroKing bundle was removed from the in-game store. The bundle had some significant bugs that released alongside it which caused players significant problems....

TimeSplitters creator David Doak has revealed that he would rather see a new Second Sight game than a new TimeSplitters. I spoke with Free Radical Design founder Doak – who previously worked on Goldeneye 007 – about the recent Koch Media acquisition. Asked which series he’d rather see resurrected, he said, ‘It would probably be Second Sight, but I’d want them to do it well.’ The reason Doak gave was that, with a series as storied as TimeSplitters, ‘The easy thing for people to say [of a new game] is “Oh yeah it’s not as good”… It’s really hard to surprise somebody with that....

Titanfall 2 is getting its first double XP event this weekend, Respawn has announced. The event is due to begin tomorrow, December 9 and run until Sunday, December 11. Exact timings have yet to be confirmed. And if you haven’t played Titanfall 2 yet, this could be the time to give it a shot. a shot. I think the single-player campaign and multiplayer are both up there with the very best this year’s shooters have to offer....

Resident Evil franchise masterminds Constantin Film and JB Pictures have got a Titanoboa movie in development. The movie is looking to The Meg for inspiration as it plans to feature the giant extinct snake coming back from the dead somehow to wreak havoc, likely on some wholly unprepared humans. The Titanoboa movie is being fast-tracked, according to Deadline, and will begin filming next year. There are no cast details to share with you yet, but Tony Giglio (Resident Evil: Afterlife, Doom: Annihilation) is penning the script right now....

They’ve barely finished announcing new DLC for Rome 2, but the reveals just don’t stop for Creative Assembly and Total War. A new teaser from their official twitter account says that the first Total War Saga will get a proper reveal tomorrow. The tagline is “Kings will rise,” which probably caused a few Warhammer fans a flutter of excitement and confusion. But this isn’t Tomb Kings folks. If you missed the explanation back in July, the ‘Saga’ naming convention is how Creative Assembly are approaching their spin-off titles....

As far as F.E.A.R. 3 is concerned, a lot of focus has been placed on the game’s single player mode, which allows gamers to play as both the Point Man and his brother Paxton Fettel, but many gamers might not know about some of the multiplayer modes that come bundled with the game as well. A new trailer has been released that showcases a mode that blends some of the game’s single player mechanics with the competitive nature of multiplayer, titled Soul King....

Laid back life sim The Garden Path has closed a successful Kickstarter campaign, meaning the game is now set to launch on Nintendo Switch and PC later this year. Billed as a “slice-of-life sim” about the joy of gardening, the Kickstarter page originally set out to get £20,000 of funding. However, thanks to 1097 fans, it closed at a whopping £30,474 after just 24 days following the campaign’s launch. The stretch goals also mean the game will get multiplayer support too....

We saw the announcement of Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince back in June during E3 2019. Today, developer Frozenbyte and publisher Modus Games announced that the game is coming out on October 8 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. They will also release the Trine: Ultimate Collection, which includes the original three titles and the fourth entry as well, on the same day. The announcement includes a brand new trailer that showcases the four-player co-op feature for the first time....

Ubisoft’s gradual tiptoe back onto Steam is set to continue, with the publisher’s enjoyable 2020 action-adventure Immortals Fenyx Rising now confirmed as heading to Valve’s platform. Launched at the tail-end of 2020, Fenyx Rising followed the same pattern as all new Ubisoft PC releases since 2019, skipping Steam in favour of a dual launch on Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store - where Epic was, perhaps not coincidentally, wooing publishers and developers with a 12% revenue cut compared to Valve’s 30%....

Fallout 4 has entered the UK video game chart at No.1, recording the best ever launch week for the series and the third biggest launch of 2015 so far, reports Chart Track. Fallout 4’s launch week sales success comes behind only FIFA 16 and Black Ops 3 in terms of unit sales. In terms of the Fallout series, Fallout 4’s week one sales better that of Fallout: New Vegas, the franchise’s previous best, by 213 per cent....

Valheim was probably the biggest early access release of 2021, and Coffee Stain and Iron Gate Studio have just announced that the game has officially reached 10 million copies sold. It’s not surprising, as the game has received glowing reviews on Steam, and its rating has been sitting at Overwhelmingly Positive this entire time. Announced via a press release, the developers have also promised that there’s more Valheim content to look forward to this year, as its early access journey continues:...

Valheim is the latest survival game, which has plenty of resources to be crafted or discovered. One such resource is Silver. Unlike plenty of other resources in the game, players can find Silver in the mountains and use it for crafting or upgrading advanced weapons. The high-grade weapons that require Silver to get upgraded are Wolf armor, the silver sword and the two hammers made up using Silver and Ymir flesh....
