Developer and publisher Carbon Studio has just announced their plans and revealed a brand new trailer for the latest addition to The Wizards series of VR games. Payday and The Walking Dead firm Starbreeze is branching out into tech with the announcement of its Project StarVR, a new virtual reality headset which promises an IMAX-style field of vision. The new headset will be demoed at E3 this week using the firm’s upcoming The Walking Dead FPS from developer Overkill Software. Each eye has a 5 and half inch panel with a 2560×1440 resolution, which is pretty impressive. There’s also positional tracking, with the video above showing how the headset is able to virtualise a play gun the user is holding....
Earlier today on YouTube, video game publisher THQ Nordic announced that they will be hosting the second annual edition of their digital games showcase later this Summer on Aug. 12 at 3 PM ET. In the trailer, we see highlights of THQ Nordic’s past published titles like SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, Biomutant, and Expeditions: Rome. As of right now, there have been no announcements about run time or what game will be included in the showcase that will go live four months from now....
Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales looks to borrow some of the best elements from The Witcher franchise, all thrown into one package. TimeSplitters co-creator Steve Ellis said that he has ‘unfinished business’ with the sci-fi shooter series, in an interview with Video Games Chronicle.
