If you’ve been pining for the return of Ubisoft’s impressively enduring Rabbids ahead of their flagship appearance in this year’s Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope on Switch, you’re in luck: Ubisoft has announced it’ll be giving its previously China-exclusive game Rabbids: Adventure Party a global release at some point before the end of next month. South London-based studio Splash Damage is helping to develop Gears of War 4’s multiplayer, having previously worked on Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Collation head Rod Fergusson has revealed to Game Informer. “They’re helping with a lot of the level design stuff,” said Fergusson. “Especially with meshing of multiplayer maps, we’re tapping into the expertise they got from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. They also have a lot of expertise with online systems, in terms of matchmaking from Ultimate Edition....

GfK ChartTrack reports that Ubisoft’s Just Dance has reclaimed the UK video game chart No.1 spot, replacing Square Enix’s Just Cause 2. The Wonderful 101: Remastered will launch for Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 19 in North America and May 22 in Europe (via IGN). Those who backed the game on Kickstarter should still get their mitts on it in April, though. Platinum Games has described this as a “general” release date, and one assumes that an Australian release date will be shared in time. “I felt there was an imbalance in the number of people who actually got to play [The Wonderful 101] compared to the amount of passion and quality that was put into creating it,” said producer Atsushi Inaba earlier this month....
