Ubisoft has declared it was the victim of a ‘cyber security incident’ in an update to players of its games. A statement on the Ubisoft website, spotted by GamesIndustry.biz, revealed and detailed the news. “Last week, Ubisoft experienced a cyber security incident that caused temporary disruption to some of our games, systems, and services. Our IT teams are working with leading external experts to investigate the issue”, it said. “As a precautionary measure we initiated a company-wide password reset....

The auto-battling game DOTA Underlords has been doing quite well in its beta phase. But now it looks like things are about to pick up, as the game is preparing to leave Early Access. The developers behind the game have announced that the beta season is about to come to an end. Slash-’em-up sequel Warriors Orochi 4 will be released in Europe on October 19, publisher Koei Tecmo has announced.
