China has been known for blocking popular websites from the west before. Now, according to reports this morning, major gaming streaming site Twitch has also been blocked 100% in China. Twitch’s mobile app has also effectively been removed from the App Store, and users in China can’t even access the site anymore. Apparently, Twitch has not been doing well in China, which was primarily due to its slow service in the region....
Twitch has been doing rather well for itself lately. It’s soon to be a gameplay streaming feature on the Xbox One, its users have been madly playing Pokemon and now it seems Twitch has signed a three year contract to be the official streaming partner of E3. Riot Games revealed a new trailer for Viper, a character in its competitive shooter, Valorant. Last week, Riot shared a new trailer for another character called Phoenix, who uses his fire abilities to damage enemies. In a short video posted on Twitter, Riot gave fans a new look at Viper’s poisonous abilities. Activision has released another batch of details about the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remaster via the company’s blog. The most noteworthy detail was the surprise reveal of a current-day pro skater roster that will join the originals. Activision released a short gameplay trailer to introduce the new roster of pros.
