Total War: Three Kingdoms was something that I definitely enjoyed. Transformers has been an obvious boon to Paramount Pictures, which launched its films based on the popular Hasbro Toys franchise back in 2007, since tallying six entries totaling $4.84 billion worldwide. However, the franchise is on the cusp of a necessary evolution to the tastes and sensibilities of today’s audiences; something that the studio will attempt to accomplish with two new films. After her first stream on Twitch in a month, streamer Annialis was bewildered to discover that she’d been suspended. Annialis is a fairly popular producer on the streaming platform, with over 110,000 subscribers at the time of this writing. GfK ChartTrack reports that Mafia II from 2K Games has claimed the top spot in the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart, ousting Square Enix’s Kane & Lynch 2, itself recording a 33 per cent increase over its debut week. Mafia II recorded the UK’s strongest launch since 2K’s own Red Dead Redemption some 14 weeks ago. The Xbox 360 version came out on top accounting for 52 per cent of total sales, PS3 took 41 per cent and the PC the remaining seven per cent....

An early version of Uncharted protagonist Nathan Drake was partially based on Jackass star Johnny Knoxville, a new report has revealed. As detailed by The Verge, Drake’s original character model appeared far more cartoony than that of the final version, featuring a younger, goofier look, longer, lighter hair and a more “comically emotive face like something in a Dreamworks film”. His face was later changed to reflect an older, “more traditionally handsome look”....

I almost always roll my eyes a bit whenever a game touts that it’s half visual novel and half something else. That usually means that it’s a visual novel with a tiny bit of weak gameplay segments tacked on, but that surprisingly isn’t the case for Undead Darlings. The visual novel aspects are fairly strong, and it’s also a fleshed-out dungeon crawler. But the question stands: is it worth it?...

Walmart has officially released its Black Friday sales plans for holiday 2019. Unlike the fake leaked Walmart Black Friday advertisement that spread prior to Halloween, Walmart’s real Black Friday plans are much more grounded. Discounts include bundles for PlayStation 4 and all three Xbox One SKUs, as well as deals on a range of new game releases from the past year and more. Legendary Pictures has released a new virtual reality teaser for next year’s Warcraft movie, giving fans the chance to take a tour of Azeroth. Created by Industrial Light & Magic xLAB, the virtual reality video allows you to fly over the city of Stormwind on the back of a gryphon. Be sure to play the video in Chrome or else you may run into some issues. Warcraft, from director Duncan Jones, will release June 2016....

Following the news of its recent approval as a Nintendo Switch developer, inXile Entertainment has announced that it’ll be celebrating its 15 year anniversary with a Steam weekend sale. The sale begins today and runs until October 29. The indie developer is the first to get its own official weekend sale, and this promotion sees a number of games receiving some pretty decent discounts. Its most recent release was the well-received RPG, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and this will be free-to-play for the weekend....

Developer Niantic has released a new commercial for Pokemon Go which was surprisingly directed by Rian Johnson. The commercial was designed to promote Pokémon Go Fest 2020 (which is set to start on July 25).
