Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku studio has announced that previously PlayStation 4 exclusives The Yakuza Remastered Collection and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will both be coming to Xbox and PC early next year. The collection consists of high-definition remasters of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 and will mean the entire Kazuma Kiryu saga will be playable on PC and Xbox for the first time. Each game in the collection will also be available seperately, and what’s more all the games will be available via Xbox Game Pass on launch....

A new “fully meshed” Deathmatch map called Underland has been released as part of the new Unreal Tournament build, Epic Games has announced. Underland is designed for 6-8 players fighting across a hidden outpost, once lost for a thousand years, that guards the entrance to the massive Underland caverns. The Unreal blog features some comparison screens showing the huge differences between the prototype shell and finished meshed level. The update also introduces 8 new Blue Star offline challenges, four in Underland and four in Chill....

Developer 11 Bit Studios has announced that its acclaimed war-torn survival sim, This War of Mine: Final Cut, will be launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S next month. The expanded version of the Polish developer’s strategy game will officially drop on May 10 and will bring with it a multitude of improvements. Specifically, This War of Mine: Final Cut will feature enhanced 4K visuals, new user interface adjustments, as well as additional locations from the game’s DLC....

Tower of Fantasy on PC It’s easy to take one look at Tower of Fantasy and immediately dismiss it as a Genshin Impact clone. Priding itself as a Trackmania-style arcade racer, Track and Burn seeks to carve out a slot in the “create-a-racer” sub-genre. This week’s entry into the battle royale gaming pool comes from TRION for their game Trove. Another week, another battle royale mode appears and this time it’s called Bomber Royale aimed at the Trove community. In Bomber Royale, players are dropped into one of three maps and have to duke it out using different types of bombs. The different bomb types include bouncing bombs, sticky bombs, and more. Power-ups are also available to players such as a grappling hook or health items....

It looks like it’s pedal to the metal on PlayStation Production’s live action TV series based on Twisted Metal. As Deadline reports, the show has now been picked up for a full series order by NBC streaming service Peacock. As previously announced, it’ll star The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie as John Doe. It looks like Twitch is pulling a Darth Vader and altering the deal, as the company has announced cutbacks on two of Twitch Prime’s most popular benefits. Universal ad-free viewing and video game pre-order discounts are getting the axe. At TwitchCon Amsterdam, streaming giant Twitch announced a number of new safety features coming soon to the platform. This includes the ability for streamers to customise who can “raid” them, plus the ability to share a list of banned accounts with other streamers. Both of these features are in response to the mass wave of hate raids that affected marginalised streamers last year.
