THQ Nordic is bringing a remastered edition of THQ’s 2008 DS tower defence title Lock’s Quest to PS4, Xbox One and PC this April. The remaster is being handled by Digital Continue (headed up by Joe Tringali, who was a founder of the game’s original developer 5th Cell), which has chosen to retain the original visuals and core gameplay, but revamp the UI, controls and music. “I always felt Lock’s Quest deserved a multi-platform release, and it’s exciting to help that vision come to pass all these years later,” commented Tringali....

The official website of To Your Eternity dropped a new key visual for their upcoming Season 2 anime that should continue enticing fans. There are also more updates for the scheduled release set for Oct. 23, which will be broadcast every Sunday in Japan at 7 pm on NHK ETV. Twitch has begun banning streamers and content creators from the platform following a large number of sexual assault and abuse allegations (via Polygon). The company has not named names, but a Twitter account has recorded that users BlessRNG, DreadedCone, iAmSp00n, WarwitchTV, and Wolv21 have recently been banned by Twitch. “We’ve prioritized the most severe cases and will begin issuing permanent suspensions in line with our findings immediately,” it said in an official statement, and qualified that investigations are still ongoing....

MCV has compiled a list of the UK’s top 10 best-selling games in the first half of 2010, revealing Ubisoft’s Just Dance as the year’s biggest seller. The Wii dancing game phenomenon has sold 940,358 units this year alone, not including sales in the latter part of 2009 – the game was released November 27, 2009. Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption comes in at No.2 with an impressive 819,161 units, made even more impressive by its May 21 release date – approximately six weeks on sale compared to the full six months for just dance....

Slapstick stealth sandbox Untitled Goose Game will launch for the Nintendo Switch and PC on September 20, developer House House announced on Twitter today. The goose has a checklist of nefarious deeds, like stealing keys from a gardener, turning on the sprinklers, and nicking sandwiches and a flask of tea for a picnic. My favourite assignment? Rake in the lake. All these crimes and more will await us in the full release of Untitled Goose Game on September 20....

Valve has given us the dates of the next three Steam sales. Kicking off the list of seasonal sales is the Steam Autumn Sale, which begins on November 22 and ends a week later on November 29. Steam users won’t have to wait long for the second sale either, with the Winter Sale running from December 22 to January 5. Valve continues to soldier on with its comeback plan for Artifact through a Beta 2.0. In the latest blog post on the Artifact website, the developers revealed that the whole team working on the game believes there is something special about it.
