Valve has overnight launched Steam Link Anywhere, an update to their Steam Link service that allows people to stream their Steam games to other devices, so that it can now be used across the internet, and not just on a local network. As per the announcement, Steam Link Anywhere now will let you stream your games from ‘any computer running Steam, as long as your computer has good upload speed and your Steam Link device has a good network connection....

Accidents happen, especially with mobile devices such as the Steam Deck. Thus, Valve has moved to help make such situations a little less stressful, with the formal introduction of the Steam Deck repair centers. In its announcement, Valve promises that these new repair centers will be “free of charge” — as long as your device is still under warranty, that is. Just as is the case with other devices, the Steam Deck repair center process is pretty straightforward....

Following a delay at the end of 2021, Valve has confirmed its highly anticipated portable gaming PC Steam Deck is still on track to meet its revised February 2022 launch date. When Steam Deck reservations first opened in July last year, Valve anticipated its hardware to begin shipping before the end of the year. Unfortunately, disruptions in production caused by a lack of available parts crushed those pre-Christmas dreams and Valve adjusted its planning, telling customers it expected first Steam Deck units to release in February this year....

Today Square Enix announced a brand new collaboration that will come to its popular tactics JRPG War of The Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and it’s with Final Fantasy XIII. The collaboration, which for now has been announced only for Japan, will include Lightning, Snow, and Hope from Square Enix’s JRPG originally released in 2009. It will start on the Japanese servers on May 14, and will likely be ported to the western servers sometime down the line, as it usually happens with content that appears first in Japan....
