Publisher Devolver Digital made the announcement alongside a new extended gameplay trailer it released earlier today. The footage offers Bushido fans a whopping fifteen minutes of sword fighting action, exploration and some very stylish set pieces. To get you up to speed, you play as young swordsman named Hiroki. The samurai has made an oath to protect his town and the people in it against all threats....

TV Azteca, which is the second largest media company in Mexico and broadcasts to 13 Latin American countries has just announced that it will broadcast Gears 5 Pro League games to its sizable audience. This is part of its ongoing partnership with Allied Esports. Gears 5 Pro League, which begins this month, will be played in four groups in three regions: two in the U.S.A., one in Europe, and one in Latin America....

Ubisoft has announced plans to issue permanent bans to The Division cheaters, even on their first offence. The decision comes after a campaign of suspensions was deemed not dissuasive enough. “Cheating has been a source of frustration for our community as some individuals have been gaining an unfair advantage in the game by using third-party software at the expense of our loyal players. In order to address this situation, last month we announced a series of new measures that have since brought significant results but also new learnings,” explains the blog post....

The United States Navy continues to move into esports with new ESL, Twitch, and DBLTAP partnerships. An additional deal with Evil Geniuses will see the premier American esports organization hand-pick a competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team of US Navy sailors. Twitch and DBLTAP will produce content surrounding the team, including an episodic series comparing the Navy’s CS:GO team with Evil Geniuses’ professional players. The Navy, among other branches of the US Armed Forces, have made pushes in recent years to reach the esports audience....

Today publisher Frontier Foundry and developer Complex Games announced the first DLD for the popular Warhammer 40K game Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate Daemonhunters. The DLC is titled “Duty Eternal” and just by reading the title, you’ll probably be able to guess what its main feature is.
